Actress Anne Hathaway cannot find a good boyfriend who stays out of trouble, it seems. The sweet, Oscar-nominated brunette is dealing with another boyfriend drama.

According to a report in The New York Post, Hathaway’s boyfriend Adam Shulman has been accused of stealing a painted mural that someone else claims is his property and that he is going to press charges unless Shulman returns the piece of art.

H&H Builders president Ken Hart claims the artwork painted by infamous New York City street artist Mr. Brainwash was taken from him by Shulman. Hart said that “if he brings me back the art, it’s over … But if he doesn’t, I’m going to the police to report it stolen!” Sigh. This is the second time a Hathaway BF has been embroiled in scandal, although this drama is of a much smaller scale.

Her former longtime boyfriend Raffaello Follieri is now in jail after pleading guilty to fraud charges. He was sentenced to nearly five years in the slammer after he cheated investors out of $4 million in a real estate scam. Hathaway had promptly broken up with Follieri and her image was barely tarnished during his shakedown, even though she was on the board of one of his charitable operations. She certainly escape unscathed.

At press time, Shulman has not responded to the claims.
