According to a statement released by Mayer’s camp on his website, he has an intestinal illness and was forced to cancel appearances in Amsterdam, Madrid, Manchester and Copenhagen. Boo hoo.
Sources reported that the singer suffered from dizziness and dehydration after he contracted some sort of bug. He nixed his touring plans under a doctor’s advice. His North American summer tour is slated to start in North Carolina on July 17 and is expected to run through September. As long as this “intestinal illness” doesn’t ravage the man’s insides, that tour looks to remain on schedule and on track.
