Aussie pop superstar Kylie Minogue, 42, has her eleventh studio album Aphrodite coming out next month, and so she’s gracing the latest cover of BlackBook AND doing a wet and wild swimsuit photo shoot for the mag – a fashion goddess as well as pop icon, just like Lady Gaga! Except Kylie has been around much longer.

“I think there’s an element of me in her,” Kylie says about Gaga. No doubt the “Bad Romance” singer was heavily influenced by Minogue, among others. And we’re glad to see Kylie isn’t getting all uppity about the comparisons like some people.

So what about this upcoming album? “Aphrodite is the goddess of love, and as far as the music goes, there’s a feeling of euphoria on this one,” explains Kylie. Can’t wait!
