Jennifer Hudson Still Miffed Over Photoshopped Debut Album Cover

Jennifer Hudson may have dropped 80 lbs. and became a Weight Watchers spokesperson in recent years, but she is still miffed at her label exes for using editing software and Photoshopping her image on her 2008 debut album. She was fuller figured then and the singer and mom of a young son felt that it sent a bad message to fans and women about body image.

Hudson was taken aback when the album dropped, because music bosses had digitally altered the cover art in a bid to make the singer look thinner. They didn’t ask her permission, either! Ouch. We’re not sure which offense is worse, but they run a close one and two.

As a guest on Dateline, Hudson revealed, “It was like, ‘Where is the rest of me?’ They Photoshopped me, probably to the size I am now, on that cover but we all know I was nowhere near that. Why would you Photoshop that? And to me it did not send out a good message. It did not represent me. Did I not just prove that talent is enough – if I made it this far being who I am, being the size I am, the image that I am?”

We love Hudson’s attitude. She looked beautiful then and looks beautiful now and we love her voice and acting talent no matter her size.
