Though it was previously reported that Russell Brand was moving out of the $6.5 million Hollywood Hills home he shares with soon-to-be ex-wife Katy Perry, it seems as though she’s actually the one packing up her belongings!

Today X17 photographers snapped pictures of moving trucks at the couple’s former residence, but get this — when they arrived at a new pad three miles away, Katy’s assistant, who was driving her black Audi, was also there!

It seem’s Katy’s snatched up a $1.9 million pad at the end of a quiet Hollywood Hills cul-de-sac. It’s a 5-bedroom, 5-bath home with great views, but certainly a down-size move from the retro Los Feliz home she was sharing with Russell. Seems like temporary digs for this superstar, until KatyCat finds something a little more glam!
