Rihanna’s out to prove blondes definitely have more fun!

The “S&M” singer made the most of her NYC vaycay, by hanging out of the sunroof of her chauffeur-driven car while snapping pix of the city lights, before signing autographs for fans outside of her hotel, on Monday night.

Quite possibly the only person on earth who can rock denim-on-denim, Riri looked rock star-chic in an acid-washed top, paired with jeans, fur vest and a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarer shades. A far cry from the previous night’s ensemble, but we think she looks fab either way!

Looking bad girl-chic in a hot pink motorcycle jacket, snakeskin-print spandex, high heel booties and a fedora hat, Gwen Stefani made her way to a meeting with No Doubt bassist — and ex boyfriend — Tony Kanal in Studio City, on Monday afternoon.

Is the upcoming No Doubt album finally about to drop?

Gwen has been hard at work recording a new album with her band, and she recently revealed, “We have already got ten songs and want to do a bit more. Our last album came out 11 years ago, we’ve changed.” We can’t wait!

Lindsay Lohan and her gorgeous red hair hit up Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Monday night in Los Angeles for a friend’s birthday celebration.

Wearing black jeans, a blue blouse and matching blue pumps, Lilo seemed a bit shy to face the cameras on her way out. Now that she’s back to her more natural hair color, she should definitely be more willing to work the flashbulbs.

We already know that Madonna’s 15-year-old daughter Lourdes gives her mother fashion advice, and now the teenager is helping the Queen of Pop in the recording studio as well.

Lourdes, aka “Lola,” sings the backup vocals on “Superstar,” the new leaked track off of Madonna’s “MDNA” album.

The “Like a Prayer” singer told The Sun, “She’s my background singer. She just came over to the studio that day. Then I said, ‘Oh, can you sing this part?’ and she agreed to.”

Madonna’s new record comes out March 26, but snippets of several songs have already leaked.

Madonna got slammed by the Malawi government on Tuesday.

The singer, who adopted two children from the poor African country, recently announced that she wants to build 10 schools there.

But Malawi officials are now sounding off on the Material Girl, who last year scrapped plans for a girls’ school near the capital of Lilongwe.

Malawi’s Ministry of Education spokeswoman Lindiwe Chide said the government is “fed up” with Madonna, who allegedly never informed the government before she abandoned the academy.

“Now she decides to announce that she plans to build 10 schools without getting authority from us again,” said Chide, adding, “We now feel like this is all about propping up her global image and not in our interest.”

Chide griped, “She has no mandate to decide where she wants to build a school because she doesn’t know our needs and where we want new schools… she first needed to consult us, get permission from us before doing anything.”

Madonna has yet to comment on the controversy.

Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend Rihanna and his current flame Karrueche Tran are having a virtual mud slinging contest via Twitter, and it seems like RiRi was the one who started it all!

On March 3 the 24-year-old R&B starlet tweeted a photo of a bag of rice cakes with gold earrings and black shades, along with the caption, “Ima make u my b*tch,” which many have interpreted to be a racist jab at Tran, who is half-Vietnamese.

After that, Tran referenced the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie/Jennifer Aniston love triangle on her Facebook page, writing, “I’m Angelin[a], you’re Jen. C’mon you see where Brad is at.” Pitt may have been married to Aniston for several years, but as we all know, he’s been with Jolie since 2005 and it doesn’t look like they’re splitting up anytime soon.

Of course, Rihanna still hasn’t had enough, as she quoted the lyrics from Lil Kim/Mob Deep’s remix “Quiet Storm” yesterday, tweeting, “I’m a leader, yall on some followin s***…comin in dis game on some modeling s***!” Tran is an aspiring model, so it definitely seems like these girls are just getting started…

Britney Spears has settled a lawsuit filed by former bodyguard Fernando Flores, who claimed the pop star sexually harassed him during the brief period of time that he worked for her in 2010.

Spears settled after meeting with a private mediator, and the terms are confidential, so there’s no way of knowing whether Flores was paid off and if so, how much he got.

Miley Cyrus may have gotten her panties in a bunch over death threats on Twitter the other day, but the 19-year-old singer seems to have calmed down after slamming followers for sending her nasty messages.

Miley posted this snapshot on Twitter this afternoon and wrote, “We could all: Love More.” Not only do we love the message she’s sending, but we definitely dig her rings too!

Janet Jackson will not be joining the judges panel on X Factor, according toTheInsider.com.

The 45-year-old “Control” singer tells the site that she’s “very flattered that X Factor let me know that I was being considered for next season, but it just wouldn’t be possible.”

Just last year, judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were reportedly fired from their spots on the hit Fox show.

Now that Janet has declined, singers like Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Avril Lavigne are rumored to be gunning for the spot.

We would have loved to see Ms. Jackson on the panel!

You already knew Adam Lambert was going to release his second major-label album, Trespassing next month. But did you know that it is one of two CDs the former “American Idol” runner-up will be dropping this year?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the second release, Beg For Mercy, is not necessarily one that Lambert wants out in the world, but it will see the light of day thanks to the settling of a lawsuit.

Colwel Platinum Entertainment had sued Lambert over claims that the singer had interfered with its attempts to release Mercy, which was recorded before Lambert rose to stardom as the runner-up in the eighth season of “Idol.” The two sides reportedly came to terms with each other and the lawsuit was dismissed less than four months after Colwel accused the singer of allegedly making a false claim under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and sending a takedown notice to Amazon.com after Colwel had the album on the site.

The company claimed that it owned a 50 percent share of the publishing in the recordings and that according to its contract with Lambert it had the right to promote and sell his music. Now, Colwel has dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice and gotten assurance from Lambert that he won’t stand in the way of Mercy‘s release.

Both sides also made it clear that Lambert’s deal with Colwel never, as rumored, made him ineligible for “Idol,” though Colwel’s original complaint in the case mentioned that it might have.

“The Colwel Platinum Entertainment lawsuit against Adam Lambert has been resolved,” read a statement from the company to the Reporter. “Adam has withdrawn any objections to the release of ‘Beg For Mercy’ and he has approved the use of his songs and performances in these pre-’Idol’ recordings which are interpretations of his artistic vision at the time. Neither Colwel Platinum Entertainment, Inc. nor Malcolm Welsford ever stated that Adam was not eligible to participate in American Idol when he did so and regret that the lawsuit’s allegations were misinterpreted.”

At press time, Lambert, who will be performing several shows this summer as the lead singer of iconic rock bandQueen,
 had not commented publicly on the matter. The first single from Trespassing, 
 ”Better Than I Know Myself,”
 was released in December.

Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection doesn’t hit stores until March 13, but with the first single, ”Part of Me,” currently sitting atop the Billboard Hot 100, it’s almost as if Perry can never truly say goodbye to the album that has come to define her. Though, to be honest, she’s going to try.

“It feels like the record that never ends!” she told MTV News recently in Los Angeles. “Obviously I’m going to close this chapter soon. … I am ready to make a new record and maybe try another approach artistically, and Iwill close the book on Teenage Dream soon, but [Complete Confection] just felt really organic. I’m doing it mostly for the hard-core fans, because they always love all the extras. And also, I couldn’t put more than 12 songs on the original Teenage Dream, and I had written more songs … and I finally wanted to incorporate them.”

“I just wrote [it] with a bunch of my co-writers, in two days,” she laughed. “It was nuts, I recorded it at 3 a.m. and I was slapping myself in the face to stay awake, singing the chorus … so tired! But it’s nice to have all those goodies [on the reissue.]”

And while she wouldn’t give away too many details about the proper follow-up to Dream, Perry did say that she can’t wait to focus on writing new material. And she’s got no shortage of subject matter, either.

“It’s a very therapeutic thing for me, songwriting. I’m kind of one of those people who is a bit emotion-less on the outside, especially in public, but what I do is I store it, and I file it, so when I need to write I can just push that button,” she explained. “I’m going to stick my finger out there and test the waters of what the world wants, or what I need to say … but, I’m all ears. If people want me to do another pop record, I can do another pop record … I definitely have a lot to say right now, and in general always have. If you want an opinion, I’ve got one, unfortunately.”

Of course, whenever she gets around to making the new album, it may be a big-time departure from the futuristic, candy-colored pop confections she spun on Dream. The next time out, she may very well be looking backward, as opposed to forward.

“I just think that it’s time for me in some ways to show where I came from,” she said. “I’ve always just been me and my guitar; and I’m not saying I’m going to make that record, but I do want to get back to my roots. I’ve been changing my hair color too much!”

Mariah Carey is gearing up for her first live show since before giving birth to her adorable twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

The sexy songstress will be performing a free show on March 1 at New York’s Gotham Hall as part of the Plot Your Escape concert. The concert will include four artists performing four different shows in various locations … all in one night.

Mimi will be joined by Sean Combs in NYC, Maroon 5 will be performing in Chicago and Gavin DeGraw in New Orleans.

Carey hasn’t hit the stage for a live show since 2010.

Gwen Stefani was snapped leaving Whole Foods in Studio City today, and as always, the singer/fashion designer looked amazing in her casual getup. We’ve shopped at this store before, so we can’t imagine what we’d do if we ran into Gwen in the produce section! And call us crazy, but Gwen may actually be reading this right now too!

She recently told the Associated Press, “I’m constantly on the Internet at the studio late at night when we have breaks recording the No Doubt album.”

Wanna know which blogs she admits to reading? ”I love sites like Trendland, Style.com and am always finding tons of new Japanese sites to go through too. I love sending my team all of the images I find. So much fun. I’m totally obsessed,” she said. Of course it’s all fashion blogs! Would you expect anything less?

When asked if she’s still drinking and doing drugs, Lindsay tells Matt Lauer that she’s“clean and sober.” She adds that she plans “to continue to move forward and in the right direction.”

As for whether she’s admitting to being in denial for a period of time regarding her substance abuse issues, the 25-year-old starlet adds:

“Definitely. And I think it was — it’s a scary thing to have to kind of express to people … I wasn’t as comfortable with myself then. I think it was a fear factor that I had about what was really going on. And, you know, I had to get that wakeup call.”

Does she still go out to the clubs? She tells Lauer, “That’s not my thing anymore. I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable.”
